Cake Delivery, Collection and Management
Delivery is available for all orders on the day of or the day before your event within the area range detailed below and of course collection is always available. The delivery or collection arrangements will be finalised during the ordering process and detailed in the final order contract. Your cake will be in a sturdy cardboard box and depending on the size, it will be in a large craft bag for ease of carrying.

Delivery to venues where venue staff will be receiving the cake will require full contact details upon ordering to ensure the correct storage facilities are available as well as an agreed time. (If these details can't be given by yourself) This will also ensure any unforeseen changes or events on the day can be quickly communicated between all involved in the order and delivery.
Delivery is priced based on time traveling and is worked out individually. This gives an honest price for delivery as different times of day as well as different days of the week will affect the amount of time traveling.

All deliveries are ideally within 10 miles from my base but I can provide quotes for deliveries further than 10 miles on request.

I do not offer set up at venues but can provide suggestions to make your cake the star of the show.

Collection

Collection is available for free at a time agreed upon ordering. Full collection address will be detailed on the invoice or can be given when requested.

Advice on keeping your cake safe during travel are below.

Transporting Your Cake
​
Your cake will be in a sturdy cardboard box on a cake board and depending on its size and if it is 1 tier it may be in a large kraft bag so it is easy to carry. When picking up a cake box always hold from the bottom to avoid allowing the sides to touch the cake as well as noting the lid is loose.
Your cake will be stuck to its board and chilled prior to its journey to avoid movement during travel. However I recommend finding a flat area in your boot, possibly with bags or boxes around it to prevent it moving. But ensure there is nothing which can roll onto or fall on the cake box. To be extra safe avoid sharp breaking and turning corners quickly.

Your cake will be kept chilled up until collection or delivery (apart from royal icing features). It is therefore best to keep the air conditioning on in your vehicle during transport incase of direct sunlight hitting the cake during the journey.
