"It’s a joy to be able to entertain again but after a year off I’m a little rusty... never one to just do one pudding, but not quite ready to slave over a dessert buffet either, I sought help from RachelBakesuk, who delivered these divine little tartlets.
Richly indulgent banoffee pies with a pillowy cloud-of-cream topping, and tangy lemon meringue tarts that were a joyous taste and texture sensation from the light melt-in-the mouth meringue through the creamy lemon curd to the buttery pastry case. In both ‘cases’ it is the superb pastry that made these tartlets stand out.
Rachel is Le Cordon Bleu trained and it shows. At £2.50 each I thought these were excellent value for money. There are other lots of treats on the menu too but I know I’ll be ordering these again!"

"I have had the pleasure of trying a variety of different products over the last year from Rachel Bakes and each one has been delicious! My birthday cake I have to say was absolutely outstanding and so beautifully decorated I didn’t want to cut into it. My partners favourite is the Lemon Meringue and I really love the chocolate tarts (think I’ve tried every variety of them now: Salted Caramel and Raspberry are my favourites).
The macarons have been perfect as a unique present for my good friends, and I have to say-since trying Rachel’s macarons, we have been on a mission to try all the others in london(Laudree and Fortnum and Mason) and none of them come close to Rachel’s in terms of flavour and quality. Again-would highly recommend my favourite which was salted caramel. I also commissioned a bespoke birthday cake from Rachel, and it was absolutely beautiful as well as delicious-nothing was too much work for her.
